Their collaborative sculptural installation is derived from their research into the work of Hieronymus Bosch, Ernst Haeckel and a range of artists who create sound based installations.
Their final work represents a part biological, part mechanical, rhizomatic network with various speakers, outlets and vents. They have also created audio media in their Music lessons that plays through small concealed speakers within the sculpture. The speakers will also relay poems and other audio files sent or transmitted by students in other participating schools
The installation shown here is a trial. The work will eventually be installed in St Paul’s Church in Rome as part of a larger project involving our Y12 (11th Grade) students.
